Hi,

I am extremely new to this so I hope some one would help me.

I used poser pro and Daz studio and I am learning how to use them slowly.

my problem is how to use all the 3d models you are offering. I don't know how to use them there. I import them into both program for example the Kenshiro model. it came without the textures unlike others in Poser pro and all came silver in color in Daz studio.

The other thing is that in both programs they come as a single entity as I cant manipulate them like I do with the sample models.

I tried everything I can think of but I couldn't fix it. I even looked for videos to show me how to do it but to no avail.

Please can some one show me how to make use of these models and how to be able to manipulate and animate them in Daz and Poser pro. I even tried Blender but still I can't do it but I hope to use Daz and Poser especially with the Kenshiro model (some times I get a message that files are missing from it)

PS. tries 3d Max but kinda complicated for me now and the same problem.

I hope someone can help me with all of this

Thank you so much

I do not know for which purpose you need this model but you need to know, 3d world is not easy to conquer. smile
Poser and DAZ are applications for special POSER and DAZ 3D figure posing.
They can make rigg and animate but I think it should be special accessories and tools that are not free. Poser is a commercial program and DAZ is free, but such tools are a separate charge.
I know that, for processing, creating and editing models, for DAZ, people mostly use Carrara.

I think, at this point, it is not a program(s) for you. I would recommend you any 3d application that has a lot of tutorials because you will learn so more easily.

This Kenshiro (and Mamiya) model have a few problems. UV map is upside down inverted and in the model there are several types of mesh ( low and medium poly for game purpose ).
It is necessary to separate the meshes and delete unnecessary parts and turn uv map. So, format is ok. Also, model is not rigged and that is why is like a statue.
There is no magic application that will make it right by pressing mouse button. Unfortunately, this must be done manually.

I will fix mesh, when I find time, soon, but I'm not going to rigg it.
