Hi,
I am brand new here and I have a question about download formats. A model I downloaded came in as a text file with the prefix 7z before the textformat. I tried deleting the .txt at the end, but it keeps reverting back to txt. How exactly do you handle a 7z.txt file? Thank you for your help. John Caldwell

Well from what I understand 7z is a compressed file. I personally use auto unpack(program). I got that from 4shared. I'm pretty sure you can find a program for free somewhere. If you find a rar converter that might also work. Hope this helps...

3d models are packaged inside 7-Zip archive.
7-Zip is a file archiver with a high compression ratio.
Please go to:
http://www.7-zip.org
It's free. Download and install 7-Zip on your computer.
7-Zip can also extract rar and zip archive.
